Norman Rockwell: American Scouting Collection
Medici Museum of Art is proud to host the Boy Scouts of America Collection including numerous works by Norman Rockwell and other painters and illustrators including Walt Disney, Carl Clemens Mortiz Rungius, Howard Chandler Christy and Joseph Christian Leyendecker.
This exhibition presents many works of art never previously seen together. The exhibit speaks to a wide audience including Boy Scout enthusiasts, fans of Norman Rockwell, illustrators, painters and the general public who appreciate great art.
The Medici Museum is committed to providing our community and larger region access to exceptional art for free.
Presentation of this exhibition is made possible by Foundation Medici and The Boy Scouts of America. The BSA Art Collection is at Medici Museum of Art indefinitely. We do not currently have an end date to the exhibition.

Bill Thompson
For the past thirty years, my primary focus has been on the evocative power of color. As a painter with instinctual leanings toward Minimalism, the monochrome has served me well as a format for color exploration. Though my approach has changed dramatically over the years, my fixation on the objectness of a painting has remained steadfast.
